I have been to over 30 countries. Here are my favorites!
Some destinations just stand out so much more to us than others. I have listed down the most memorable countries I've been to. If you're in the process of planning your next destination and see that I've been to that country, feel free to send me a dm via instagram and I'll reply when I can. :)

Cappadoccia
Everyone knows Cappadocia for the hot air balloons. But after spending time there, I realized the balloons are just the beginning. What made me fall in love with Cappadocia wasn't just waking up before sunrise to watch hundreds of balloons paint the sky. It was everything else.
It was staying in a cave hotel and thinking, "How is this one of the coziest places I've ever slept in?"
It was standing beside the fairy chimneys, trying to wrap my head around how nature created something this surreal.
It was exploring Derinkuyu, an entire underground city, and imagining families living several levels below the earth hundreds of years ago. You read about history, but walking through it is something else.
It was sitting down for Turkish tea with locals who welcomed us so warmly. The kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you're visiting friends instead of a destination.
It was long breakfasts, pottery kebabs, baklava, sunsets over the valleys, and slowing down enough to appreciate a place instead of rushing to the next photo opportunity.
As someone who's been fortunate enough to visit more than 30 countries, I don't say this lightly—Cappadocia has become one of my favorite places in the world. It's beautiful, yes. But more than that, it has soul. So if Cappadocia is on your bucket list, don't make it a one-morning balloon trip. Stay a few nights. Sleep in a cave hotel. Visit Derinkuyu. Hike through the valleys. Talk to the locals. Watch sunrise... and sunset. Because the hot air balloons are iconic. But it's everything else that will make you want to come back.
